With the $$$ we spent, if it equates in to a successful up coming season, will every other able University start spending like a drunken sailor as well????

This works if the coaching staff is capable of creating a team that meshes all the talent as one. As of now I think Kiffin is the one to do that

The best portal class just sets you up to have the most success. You have no idea how the jumbled up pieces from 60 different schools will come together until probably mid-october.
It will take time for everyone to gel and find their roles. Wouldn't surprise me at all for LSU to drop 2 early games and run the table after to make the playoff.

Probably because eventually, the NCAA is going to attempt to regulate the portal and NIL somehow……but then some school will mention lawyers and they’ll run and hide again.
