Pretty simple. The media has a lot of votes for the HOF. He was never very good with or nice to the media. Little bit of payback. Shouldn’t be about that but it is.

Agree but along with the Heisman, the media should not be the ones voting on this. It should strictly be current HOFs or something.

Sports media being too pompous and self gratifying as usual - kinda like how Griffey, Ichiro, and Maddux weren't unanimous.
