I would say music snob. Barrier to entry is low so you get all sorts of pedestrians that think somehow knowing some obscure music makes them more upperclass. It doesn’t.

The landman won’t make any money so he won’t agree to it but the oil company will deal with you directly and pay you 1/4. Same lease, just no landman taking a cut. The oil company will pay 1/4. They don’t care who it goes to. Cut the landman out. They are crooks taking advantage of ignorant people. Find out the oil company that’s gonna work the lease and contact them directly.
