US Senate giving Rubio free rein in the hearing. Deep State loves Rubio!!

I have not ever seen so much love for a man being questioned in front of the US Senate.

My son and I have talked briefly about 2028. He seems to favor Rubio for the nomination over Vance. I’ve told him that Rubio looks stellar in everything he’s done under Trump, but I still can’t quite trust him.

It's going to be hard to decide between Vance and Rubio for President. I think we are in good shape with either one.

Rubio has been a fricking rock star as Secretary of State. He has completely changed my opinion of him.

Rubio has done a great job as SoS - he has had a lot to do and Trump has given him even more (Dir NSC, etc).
I think Vance is a better candidate and communicator and his decisions would be more consistently in line with my own. Best case - they run on 1 ticket Vance/Rubio and Rubio still has a big portfolio of responsibilities.

what makes you trust Vance over Rubio? Vance was a lot more anti-Trump in the beginning. Also, JD rose to fame with populism, whereas Rubio rose to fame as a Tea Party conservative. I trust Rubio a lot more.

That's because Rubio is a deep state shill that Trump as per usual stabbed himself in the foot by placing in a position of prominence. Nothing that Rubio has done so far has been "stellar". He's basically Hillary 2.0 but RINO. South Florida, especially Cubans, do not produce any politicians worth voting. They're all compromised or bought off early on.

Just so we're clear 1/3 Cubans are commies/D-voters even in South Florida. They are the most easily bribed political block, which is why SF politics is so often in the headlines for bribery cases.
It's a primitive country that produces primitive politicians. Much like I don't want to have President Ramswamy I don't want to have someone like Rubio that high up. I don't think he shares true American values nor can connect with voters and his 2016 run proved exactly that. He lost to Trump in his own home state.
