This isn't going to be a mainline GoW title, it will be a spinoff
I find it hard to believe that they would market it without GoW in the name of the game though

Ragnarok came out in 2022. I just don’t understand why leadership would waste time on a spin-off that isn’t going to compare with the main series when they could just make the next installment

The players ranking Dan Quinn (A+) and Raheem Morris (B+) ahead of Sean Payton (B) and Jim Harbaugh (C+) tells me their opinion is absolutely worthless.

They ranked the Dolphins, a perennial dumpster fire, as the top organization in the league and the Steelers, a model of consistency who haven't had a losing record since 2003, as the worst organization in the league. Mind boggling stupidity.
For reference players only rate their own organization. So the Dolphins "#1" ranking comes entirely from retarded Dolphins players. It's not a meaningful measure across teams

The point of the report cards wasn't to be comparable or even sensical, it was just to publicly shame teams towards the bottom in certain categories with the hope that the shame would prompt them to fix things

Some of these are pretty surprising. Seems like if the coach is a pushover, they are getting and A
Pretty much. Mike McDaniel got an A+ last survey for a reason, and it wasn't for going 8-9
Iranian fans were already banned from traveling for the tournament, FYI

Sofi Stadium
The Iranian diaspora in the US is almost a million people and about half live in California. It's more likely the regime change prompts more attendance out of pride over the fall of the government than before

I bet we can get cheap tickets
Not all tickets have been released, but the lowest price you'll see on secondary sites is still >$300

They may even pull out. Their Federation chief (potentially at sword point) said it's not clear they're still participating

Was it bad when Saban came back to TS the first time? Probably whatever that was.
There was serious energy that night (one of TS' best) but I don't think it's going to be the same type. Vaught-Hemingway is going to be in pure existential angst

1. Saban didn't leave LSU for Bama (and didn't poach our players / staff to face us immediately after)
2. LSU were the defending national champions with his successor
3. LSU's seat at the big boy table in college football was as secure as anyone's in the sport
4. At the time Bama was still a recent laughing stock of disappointment. We weren't in a period of serious beef towards their program or their fans again yet, the hate was mostly localized to Saban. They weren't even the most hated program in their state - we hated Auburn WAY more at the time

Ole Miss fans want LSU wiped off the map. Vaught-Hemingway won't be anywhere near as loud as Tiger Stadium was that night, but there will be serious vitriol in Oxford. Definitely the most since James Meredith set foot on that campus

The Saudis have confirmed that they’re sending troops. Do you honestly think a Wahhabist government is going to assist in removing veils? No
Eh the Crown Prince hasn't really shown to give as much of a shite. He's pissed off enough people with his 2030 reforms. Iran is the region's #1 pain in the arse by far and regional stability (read: $$$) is easily worth the price of a more secular Persia to any member of the House

And Gulf Arab states are about to enter the war, almost certainly to help prevent Iran from becoming too Westernized
There isn't really a war to enter at this point, nor are they in a position to be driving anything. That would be us. If we want a Starbucks and Chipotle on every Tehran street corner, that's how it's going to be
Idk about violent but watch for AIDS

you can’t really use the “haven’t played anybody” excuse
When 3 teams in February is the entirety of a season’s meat, I absolutely can. Because those 3 are the average SEC opponent on a weekly basis. And Tennessee is probably going to be dogshit

Played LSU and Ark in Omaha last year, I’m sure they learned lessons from those two losses
Yeah, they learned what happens when you have to go through actual quality competition after a hellacious conference slate and the easiest Regional + Super combo in the country
quote:

UCLA is gonna be a wagon this year.
They’re good but they’re once again playing midweek games until the postseason. Not a single ranked series on the schedule, where 8 of LSU’s 10 conference opponents came into the weekend ranked. The difference in paths is insane. They have no excuses to not win 25 conference games

It’s more likely they coast to Omaha and fall short again once they actually have to play peers. Or maybe they’ll actually play decent competition in Regionals or Supers this time and not even get there. Either way, they’re not going to be tested come May
The best route is give your auto-bid to your regular season champion like the lord intended

But this isn’t a bad alternative

tGS is woketown central run by lesbians

+ the whacked out parents who’d still let their children participate in 2026 are not raising the girls of yesteryear

It’s not an organization that deserves to exist anymore. The morally correct move is to pass entirely
Weird thread when they’re going for the ranked SEC team sweep, with 2 beatdowns. It’s not like we’re jumping them anytime soon

And why leave State’s #4 out?
So Hearts are really gonna do this
He taught me about deux deux deuxs and for that I am forever grateful

Debatable, but I'm not sure we'll ever see anything like this on the foreign policy front again, ever

LMAO. I agree
Even if he does it as a joke it will put the spotlight on Congress and they will scurry like the cockroaches they are.
EOs are closer to memos clarifying how existing law or powers (Constitutional powers given to the Executive, or via laws passed by Congress) are to be enforced

There wouldn’t be any scurrying, it would just look retarded

I'm angry that my money is paying for this
This is one of the highest economic and security juice-per-squeeze ratios we’re ever going to see. And the actual military conflict probably won’t even last a week

The good here drastically outweighs the bad. If you can’t see that, a thread can’t solve your confusion

Certainly. They cant project, but Iran isnt that far from their doorstep
With all the military bases we have over there, that’s our doorstep, not theirs
