a culinary and restauranteur legend in Lafayette. From Judge Roy Bean's Saloon, Cafe Vermilionville, Charley G's, Social, Marcellos, Hub City Diner, The Tap Room, and others. He will definitely be missed. Always very professional and never heard a bad work about Charlie. Lost his battle with throat cancer.

Didn’t know him or anything about him but he’s obviously a legend… God speed Charlie, and may perpetual light shine upon you.

RIP.
We used to be regulars at the Charlie G’s at the end of Vets in Metairie and I miss Cafe Vermillionville in Lafayette.
