I don't think there's much else comparable on the market. You can use them to run with too, if you choose to run.

I pulled the trigger and got these. However, Bluetooth doesn’t penetrate water. What type of iPhone strap do you use for swimming?

Are you just swimming laps? That is boring, better to swim sets like 10x100 on an interval. Or a pyramid 50,100, 150,200,150,100,50. Lots of different sets you can do.
