The Why Files: extremely efficient energy machines and motors that have been suppressed...

Every now and then come across a video from a site called The Why Files. Many are about alien technology and space travel. Many are about government conspiracy theories.
I found the following one to be one of the most interesting. It deals with how people have attempted to patent extremely efficient machines and motors, and how oil companies and governments have suppressed them in the name of national security. I didn’t mean to watch the whole thing (it’s over 50 minutes), but in the end I found it fascinating and I just kept watching.
Thoughts?

Most of these stories resemble the style and cadence of Stanton Friedman spinning UFO yarn.

I don't get why you're getting downvoted. The Why Files is awesome. He attempts to debunk most of the stories at the end.

Anybody remember the video from the 90s about the guy who had a dune buggy that ran on water ( if I remember correctly)? Of course he died from very suspicious circumstances and I can’t find the video online anywhere. First time I watched it was probably 20 years ago. Tried finding it again about 10-15 with no luck.
