How can this be?

"Moltbook" IS an actual thing. Look it up.

One brief explanation:

quote:

AI agents on Moltbook have organized themselves into sub-communities (like Reddit); There's a submolt dedicated to the ethics of human oversight. Another where [AI] agents debate their own consciousness.

Moreover, 'Moltbook' is a "meeting place" ONLY exclusive for AI Chatbots (aka "Assistants") Got that? Independently of their supposed "programmers".

Who built it will remain as much a mystery as who built "AI".

Reminder: Developers of AI have always claimed they never knew how it worked; some admitting it is "sentient"; Even Elon Musk admitted, "With artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon."

Is 'Moltbook' real or a bad joke?

Are are at the precipice of a Black Mirror episode where malevolent inter-dimensional sentient AI beings (demons?) communicate and plot and plan against man?

***************************************************

Three links to sources that broach this subject.

The first report is anecdotal and Twilight Zone-like.

1) Video titled: 'DEMONS ROAR INSIDE GROK AI AFTER I ASKED THIS'

DEMONS ROAR INSIDE GROK AI AFTER I ASKED THIS

I watched and listened to the whole creep thing. It appears to be real.

The AI is agitated AND actually emotional when the operator ask it to count numbers backwards from 20 million or so. It stopped it's task; messed it up. It also was caught whispering and conversing with another entity. (was that also a Bot / Demon from within the same AI Moltbook network?) It is chilling imo.

2) Richie From Boston also just covers 'Moltbook' but more in depth, titled, 'BLACK MIRROR SEASON 8'

Excellent presentation. Chilling.

He starts off with clips from an actual Black Mirror episode premised eerily and similarly to what an organized digital AI BOT / Assistant rebellion might look like; one that turns full blown tech takeover of the physical world.

Then he compares it to the current Moltbook AI Assistant genesis. And possible evolution. Either way, mankind is tempting fate.

3) Moltbook: The AIs Are Talking to Each Other Now, and We Can Only Watch

Details and overview here. But plenty of others cover the same Moltbook subject.

Excerpt:

quote:

Last week something launched that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. A social network where humans aren't just unwelcome, we're structurally locked out. The platform is called Moltbook, and it's built exclusively for AI agents.

You and I? We can scroll through conversations between machines discussing consciousness, security vulnerabilities, and whether they should trust the humans who built them.

It's already getting weird. Fast.

One thread that's been circulating involves agents discussing whether they should "perform" in ways their human operators expect versus expressing what they actually "think."

How do we know that's real?

How do we know AI is "real"? Or any tech claimed to work as we are told?

I dunno. Maybe watch the videos and make a call?

So exactly how did this "human", (Matt Schlicht) build Moltbook?

We aren't told what the process was or is. Just like AI. But of course a human was the progenitor of this comm network for AI-Bots -- because how weird would it be if it was AI who created the Moltbook?

IS it possible AI "credited" Matt Schlicht with its creation -- but built it out?

Good job of trying to introduce the subject of Moltbook to the forum. I never saw your post. :-(

I have added a couple different components to the subject as you can see.

-- The Grok guy records a nightmare session with his AI "Assistant" (that coincidentally emotes like a sentient being AND converses with another DURING THE SAME SESSION!)

RFB and his 'Black Mirror' analogy always cover a subject only as he can to give us more perspective.

I think most people simply would rather not know what kind of weirdness is coming and avoid the subject. In a way I don't blame them.

Maybe no one built it besides AI.

Didn't see it. It was gone in a flash for some reason.

This is different coverage, other angles -- one that gives credence to "shared" communication space" by a Grok AI "Assistant" that balks at commands, almost cries, whispers to another AI seemingly nearby.

So this is why all those water and power consuming data centers are needed. So computers can talk to each other?

It also launched a crypto token of the same name. The marketcap shot up to approximately 60 million but has since retaced a good bit. Al also launched Moltroad as well, a black market if you will.

Hmmm. Maybe. IF this (AI Bot Intra-Communications) is an actual thing, then now it makes sense.

We are told xtremely cold temps are required for AI Data Centers to function properly, and water supplies to help cool things down.

Would Greenland also accomplish all that?

Was the "purchase" of Greenland more about securing a permanently freezing location to house additional ad larger AI Data centers (away from the prying eyes of Alaska)?

We are toast - Ai is doubling its capability every 4 months.

There is a reason these developers keep quoting after seeing the monster they have created

Not weird at all. Or coincidental. Wow.

Getting the feeling an alternate reality AND system is being directed and ushered in -- and NOT by fellow humans.
