Was anybody else an avid watcher of this back in the day. The Tales From the Darkside thread got me thinking about all the late night spooky shows that used to come on. Young me had a thing for the redhead. Overall it was a pretty good show. The special effects back then were super cheesy but a lot of the storylines were pretty good.

For those not familiar the premise of the show was a dude, a hot redhead, and a old guy we’re tracking down cursed objects that would usually bring good fortune to the owner but at a price.

Over it back as a kid but I wasn’t supposed to watch it so I know I didn’t see everthing.

Yeah Friday and Saturday nights were great.

Tales From the Darkside, Friday the 13th, Monsters. Morgus presents, Elvira mistress of the dark. Used to have back to back nights of hanging out with friends watching scary TV and b movies.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

I actually saw her in Vegas back in the day dressed in her full outfit. Tits were spectacular.

I think the whole series is on YouTube if you search for it. I watch the first episode a while back and dont think it holds up. The opening sequence did however scare the shite out of me as a kid

Oh yea I watched all the late night stuff along with Friday night videos. It was a good night if you got David Lee Roth’s California Girls video along with Elvira boobs for a young BOSCEAUX

I remember watching a few episodes and liking it.

I know they had an advertising blitz trying to separate it from the Friday the 13th movies. The commercial would show scenes from the series, then say over and over again "No Jason, No Jason, No Jason"

One late night in high school, me and some friends were at the old Morning Call in Metairie.

Rhonda Sheer was sitting next to us.

We eventually worked up the nerve to talk to her. Very delightful woman. As we were leaving, she called out to us "Oh boys, before you leave, remember to stay Up All Night!"

The way she said it, we knew what she meant by staying up all night. We probably started giggling like Beavis and Butthead.

She's cute at 73. Very few human beings age as gracefully as she did.

Didn't the redhead just go by one name or something?
