There are 6 schools you can put ahead of Texas historically

Maybe.

Sadly for Texas half of those programs are in the SEC (Alabama, Georgia, LSU). One could make some arguments for Tennessee and Auburn as well.

I see this as similar to the Miles Morales game. It did well enough on its own and didn't prevent Spiderman 2 from coming out. I don't think people were asking for that but they played it and enjoyed it because they liked the first Spiderman game so much.

I see your point, but Miles was already popular from Into the Spier-Verse and before that the comics.

Miles, honestly, is a literal "how to" guide on adding a new character by the same name to a legacy character (though his start in the Ultimate comics was rough at first).

I don't see this character (Faye) the same way. We barely know anything about her, other than a few flashbacks. She's a good character, but that alone isn't enough to carry the game when people are expecting much more identifiable characters.

If their goal had been to have her in her own game, they should have given us more to work with in the previous one IMHO.
AI art is for people with no natural talent being angry that other people possess it.

Hard pass, back to Brave.

Once I started using Brave it became my go to browser on every PC I own.

Even on my work PC.
Is it just me, or is difficulty just plain different than it was when we were kids?

For me, the epitome of a "hard" level was this:

Or this:

quote:

That's correct. Starting in 2027, the rate drops by 0.25 percentage points annually:
2027: 3.75%
2028: 3.5%
2029: 3.25%
2030: 3% (and remains at 3% unless further reductions trigger).
Then it's a 0.2% to 0.3% reduction each year until it's completely gone. By 2040 it'll be completely gone (some projections indicate by 2037 - depends on the growth triggers hit).

Wild seeing folks on here upset and wanting to see higher taxes on folks.

Not for this to divert too far away from sports, but how is Mississippi planning on making up the shortfall on revenue? No offense, but the state isn't exactly known for being flush with corporate tax revenue.

Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan

Well...

Notre Dame is historically good... second only to Alabama in AP/BCS/Playoff titles

Michigan has some historical greatness but also won it all in 2023

Texas... is big? I guess?

Being hated is one of the things that makes this sport so much fun.

Being hated for being good is one thing; being hated for being arrogant without being good is something else entirely.
This feels like it would have been better in the form of something like a Tell Tale game-type. I rarely enjoy prequels because of the lack of consequences, be it in the story or with actual player decisions, so when there is one I prefer it to be shorter than a traditional game.

If I were to want to see a different protagonist AND it be female, either Freya or Thrúd. They have parts in the current and future story, and Thrúd and Loki being in a similar dual character story like they did with Kratos and Loki would be more appealing.

But I am curious if this isn’t people fretting over what ends up being Faye being in the same role as Loki, with Kratos as the actual main character.

Get us over the hump? LSU has won national championships during Kelly's coaching career. Kelly has not. Over the hump? LMAO.

My bad for the easily triggered.

LSU is simply amazing. They can win with ANY coach.*

No income tax in Texas and Tennessee and Florida either

If an entire state has no income tax that's one thing; why give these players a benefit other citizens of the state don't enjoy?

Sorry you made yourself look like a fool in the thread by saying the gap between LSU and Oklahoma is bigger than the one between LSU and Bama.

I'm sorry you failed math class.

They are broke. If their gamble on Lane Kiffin fails things look bleak.

I think they knew this.

Let's be honest - Kelly would have kept a good enough product on the field to keep them in the black, but was never going to get them to the levels to really make bank.

Kiffin will make that back, even if he's only as successful as Kelly, but in a couple of years if he hasn't shown a marked improvement (plus a better record against Alabama), then any attempt to oust him is going to fail financially.

You have to ask LSU fans if they feel he's worth the risk. If I were in their shoes... I'd say probably yes, he is. Kelly was clearly never going to get them over the hump.

As for Kelly's buyout... let's just say I think a lot of these contracts are insane. This is CEO-level absurdity, being assured huge amounts of money even if you're a massive failure.

Surprised to see The Next Generation but NOT see Deep Space Nine.

Me too, but beating a women’s gymnastics school in women’s gymnastics twice in a week is fun.

So that makes LSU what... a women's track and field school?

There's a bigger gap between Oklahoma and LSU than there is between LSU and Alabama (the #3 team nationally).

National Rankings
We'll have 5 if you guys make it into the top 25.

Eh, classic Trek had the episode with the hippies.

SNW is honestly the only one even close to classic Trek.

If we do, it better not be another from the Lensflariverse.
Well, I knew it wasn’t going to be us.

Keep hoping for the day we put some real money in and build a new Coliseum
