Parking for Weds baseball game (Nicholls)

I want to take my father to an LSU game tomorrow. It's our first game. He really struggles with walking, so I want to drop him at the stadium and then find parking and walk back over. How close to the stadium will I be able to get tomorrow? Any advice on where to park? I'm hoping with it being a midweek game during a holiday week that things will be pretty chill, but would love any advice y'all might have.

Where are your seats? There is free parking in the hayfield lots and shuttle buses run the lots and drop off near the gates behind 3rd base.
You can pull into the drop off lane right behind champion plaza behind home plate and unload your Dad there. Then park and walk back to meet him.
There are also parking passes that may be available for a lot near your seats most of the time for around $20.

Isn’t there free parking across street from the Box?

Yes, or drive past the box and there is a ton of free parking.

Drop him near the stadium then go left in that field nearby, Charging $10 (credit card) to park there. 3-4 minute walk to Gate 1

If you have a family member or friend who has a mirror-hanging handicap tag and isn't going anywhere this afternoon, borrow the tag and you can just wave it at the lot attendant for the handicapped lot at the stadium entrance. They will wave you in. Not cheating if your dad deserves it.
Edit: For a midweek game like this with light attendance I would even give it shot by telling the attendant you messed up and didn't bring his handicap tag from his vehicle. If nothing else, they should let you drop him there at a bench and go elsewhere to park. Just arrive early.
