We were able to add my daughter as just a driver to the policy as I have a company car so technically her car is my car. That still made my insurance go from $120/mo to $340/mo in Louisiana.

Every softball team my daughter has played for, even her current collegiate team, has an all black combo & it’s the majority of the players favorite uniform. I liked them, especially the tonal black stripes.

It's not as bad as a seedless watermelon rolling in the back, you didn't know it, and it explodes. H2O AutoSpa on Jefferson...ain't cheap, but my Tahoe doesn't stink anymore.

I will say I've been house poor, and I don't want to go back there again. We moved into a bigger, nicer house that we could afford at the time, but then added an "unplanned blessing" to our family and ended up needing to put the kids in private school. That tuition then made our affordable house not so affordable anymore. All that being said, just make sure you have enough margin for things life throws at you unexpectedly.

I am invested 100% in Large Cap domestic equity funds and have a three year rate of return of 23% and a five year of 15%. I also have a pension, so that helps me be more comfortable being aggressive. A lot depends on your risk tolerance.

We bought our daughter a slightly used CX-30 for her first car. It’s been great with no issues.

Lady May is fantastic. I hosted a group of 45 on the patio in November & the final price was so I thought they messed up the bill. Food & service awesome as well.

Those ornaments will be cherished for generations. My husband turned me a pen one year out of a cedar tree from my grandmother's yard...amazing gift.

No we got married at 21, he was still in college & didn’t even have a bank account. We got back from our honeymoon with $750 to our name. Twenty-three years later I guess it’s working ok. But I handle 100% of our finances.
