I’m a daily wire fan so I was excited for this series.
After the first episode, I doubt I’ll watch anymore. Simply stupid!
Gladiator fight scenes in an arena without weapons. Women jumping over charging bulls
Disjointed story skipping around with no explanation
Literally everything sucked!
Wondering if anybody has seen more episodes and can give me a reason to keep going

I saw the first one. I wasn’t terribly offended by it but not very motivated by it either.

The first two episodes are very exposition heavy. It appears the real show will beg8n with ep 3. There’s a time jump
I didn’t enjoy the first two episodes but execited for the third

The first three episodes were very disjointed and confusing. And this is coming from a man who was a fan of the book series this show is based on. However, I feel like the filmmakers really found their groove starting with the fourth episode.
Jeremy Boering has never produced, written, or directed before and it shows. I think his big problem was trying to tell the story in a non-linear format. It also didn't help that he tried to tell the story of the first novel in just two episodes. If he had used the first season to cover the first novel, you might have better understood why there were fight scenes in that arena without weapons and why a princess of Atlantis was jumping over charging bulls.
Nevertheless, I feel as if the back half of the first season is much better than the front half. I had the same complaints about the first two or three episodes as you did.
