As a man who has been fascinated by the space program from an early age, this is very exciting.

Friendly reminder that Nick Saban lost the first and last games he ever coached in Tiger Stadium.

I might be mistaken, but Nick Saban's first game as a head coach in Tiger Stadium was a 28-13 win over Houston. The first time he ever coached against LSU in Tiger Stadium, he won the game by a score of 27-21.
Joe Burrow had a retinue of future NFL stars on his team. Cam Newton had himself.
Even as an Alabama fan, Cam Newton had what was arguably the greatest individual season in the history of college football.

Chris ALL Capps

If you are the real Chris Capps, I just want you to know that I hate you.

In no universe was Liv Tyler ever an A List star.

In 2001, she might have been the most recognizable star in the whole cast. She was just three years removed from Armageddon - the highest-grossing film of 1998.

I think Bama v. Indiana wins.

How and why? Indiana is ranked #1, undefeated, and is favored to win the national championship on Monday. Alabama's loss to ULM in 2007 is a worthier candidate.
Good. Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.

50 years and they aren't even landing on it?

Correct. These things happen in stages when testing new crafts. Take the Apollo program:

Apollo 7: first manned test of the Apollo command and service module in earth orbit.

Apollo 8: first manned test of the Apollo command and service module in lunar orbit.

Apollo 9: first manned test of the Apollo lunar module in earth orbit.

Apollo 10: first manned test of the Apollo lunar module in lunar orbit.

Apollo 11: first manned mission to land on the moon.
The national championship game should have been played over two weeks ago on New Years Day.
The first manned mission of the Artemis program will see humans return to the moon for the first time since 1972.

I know he was banged up for much of 2010 and he still finished 2nd Team All-American despite his injuries.
As always, Birmingham tops the list despite being such a relatively small market in the United States.

What GMac did in the SECCG was great but he was a limited thrower. We never took advantage of Julio’s 1 v 1 deep threat like we could have.

We were also a run first, play action oriented offense for all three of Julio's seasons. In 2008 we had Glen Coffee and Mark Ingram in the backfield, in 2009 it was Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson, and in 2010 it was Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, and Eddie Lacy. Not to mention we had unsung heroes such as Roy Upchurch and Jalston Fowler rounding out the RB room in that era.

Julio drew a lot of attention because our two other WRs were Marquis Maze and Darius Hanks. While both of them were good in their own way, they weren't gamechangers at the position. Defenses thus did their best to take away Julio on obvious passing downs and made us beat them with Maze, Hanks, Dial, or Smelley.

Surprised he wasn't already in.

Same.

When I was in middle school he was THE player.
If it wasn't for the Severus Snape casting, I would be mucho excited for this show. Everything I have read but for that major hiccup has been nothing but excellent news.

Greg McElroy was his quarterback

A lot of people like to throw shade at McElroy, but he was a very efficient QB - especially in his senior year when Julio had his best statistical season while at Alabama.

In 2010, McElroy completed almost 71% of his passes and threw just short of 3,000 yards. At the time his numbers were single season records for an Alabama QB. I think he also set the single-season school passing TD record with 20 that year.
