I remember watching it in theaters opening night and coming away super entertained. I could not believe how much I liked the movie. Just a perfect summer blockbuster film.

I mean...it was true at the time. However, they immediately began rebuilding their facilities even after we told them not to. Then they started to slaughter their own citizens in their thousands. That's not even counting the years of state-sponsored terror they have backed that has killed American civilian and military personnel in Iraq, Israel, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, and other points across the Middle East and North Africa.

The lack of a running game is what did us in down the stretch. Anyone who can't acknowledge this obviously doesn't know football. You can't win a national championship or compete for one unless you can run the football. In Bryce Young's Heisman season, Brian Robinson rushed for over 1,000 yards. In 2020, despite our passing game putting up gargantuan numbers with Mac Jones and DeVonta Smith, Najee Harris still rushed for 1,500 yards.
Every single Alabama national championship in my lifetime, when you include bowl stats prior to them being part of a player's season stats, has had a 1,000-yard rusher. That goes all the way back to Derrick Lassic in 1992.

The American Civil War was never a declared war and it was the bloodiest conflict we have ever fought, involving armies with tens of thousands of men marching all over the American continent to do battle in some of the bloodiest actions in American military history.
But it doesn't count as a war because Congress never declared it a war.
