I am interested in joining a local Cc. Pelican is possible but they went up on their prices. What are the membership prices for CCLA? (Any actual info would help!

UCLUB to my knowledge has many members and tee times are tough to come by.

For CCLA
Initiation fee, monthly dues, minimum spending requirements etc.

If you’re worried about Pelican going up on prices, I don’t think you’ll love what CCL is going to charge you..!

Not a money thing. More so meant if pelican went up may as well pay a little more for a better all around club. Didn’t know if anyone on here had any actual knowledge of price and fees etc.

As of a couple years ago when I joined CCL…

$25-30k initiation fee (no longer stock purchase option- just straight fee)

Monthly dues/expense - $800-$1200/mo. This varies on how much you spend on food, retail, etc. I know it went up recently on capital dues with course Renovation coming, added pickle ball courts and a 9-hole short course. They did this instead of 1-time fundraise.

Pool is great, restaurant is always good, and there’s lots a family friendly stuff always going on.

My advice is - only join if $2k/mo has no affect on your financial situation.

this is the best advice ever given to people thinking about joining a country club. It is never going to make financial sense. It is either a lifestyle you desire or it isn't.

The OT is not the place for measured or reasonable responses.

My understanding is they are going to rate jump all members post Reno. Already had a moderate one.

Source, friend who is a member thinking of bailing.
