A rules based order requires all the players to be held to the same rules. Instead, the rules were used to bludgeon the West when responding to bad faith actors instead of shutting down the bad faith actors when they broke the rules. In summary, FAFO trumps imaginary unenforceable law.

That was pretty well covered in the video but it’s 15 min long so I get not everyone will want to watch it.
I agree with you. It’s also nice how near the very end he acknowledges that it’s not international law that keeps Europe safe, it’s American courage blood and treasure.

Winston Marshall is a hidden treasure among podcasters, he deserves to be a lot more widely known.

He’s got like 480k subscribers so I wouldn’t say he is unknown exactly.
I agree he’s really really good though. His hour + long conversations are really good because he’s very capable as an interviewer and asks solid and if needed tough questions.
He’s almost as good as Steven Edgington, the Brit who does GB News American coverage and has some amazing interviews as well

Good breakdown but I wish he would’ve thrown this in there somehow. I couldn’t stop thinking of it.
