I am curious how the board would react if we picked him at 8. I’m pretty neutral to against going this route with the 8 pick but damn that 4.39 40 is hard to ignore. What sayeth ST?

I would hate it.

We have an above average pass catching TE. We need one that can block his arse off, though.

I’m curious how good of a blocker he is.

he would be our sean payton joker type versatile position player. Replacing many roles taysom plays but even bigger and faster.

line him up anywhere. he's a mismatch all over. faster than lb'ers. stronger than cb's. Juwan could be phased out in a year if needed.

Hell no

Extremely deep TE draft. It would be a waste of an elite pick

Too high. I would rather Monroe Freeling if we made a pick the board would hate

i get it but there's a part of me that doesn't like a whole lot of guys if 3-4 targets go ahead of us.

Needing an offensive playmaker, sadiq may be as lethal and game changing as any available imo. Tate is just a slightly taller olave.

Delane is my fallback option

Lol. Not even close. He goes up and makes a ton of contested catches. Complete opposite of Olave.

I’d take Tate unless one of the edge guys are still on the board.

I’m with you. I’m hoping Tate falls and we take him if Styles/Love are gone

WR’s are making mid 30’s now and Olave’s health can’t be trusted

There are more similarities than you would think.

Good player but not at 8. I like him though.

Agreed. I'd take him if we were picking like 17th or something but I do not want him at 8.

He’s a tweener with nice biceps. Not as nimble / twitchy as a WR, not big enough to block dominantly / be a big target in coverage. Most action on designed plays. Late first, early second value. No way at 1.8. Evan Engram / Jordan Reed type.

Would prefer Koziol out of Houston with pick 132 or 148
