You cant be bad at catcher and 1st base

For the first time in his tenure Jay doesnt have it at both premium positions.

Doesn't even need to be premium, just can't be garbage and cost your team games. Hernandez was a great leader and great at doing his job, but he wasnt an all world going to be drafted highly, catcher. Bear was much the same albeit better hitter. Yorke and Bide cant seem to do either and thats the problem. If you want to suck at the plate fine be great at defense or vice versa. You can't suck at both

Yes you do. Both natty years we had plus 1st basemen (Morgan was ++ and Jones was a plus bat and low key good 1st baseman) and plus catchers (Milazzo and hernandez)
