On the one hand I get taking the first pitch...but they are always strikes and we never swing and thus are immediately behind in the count. Its just insane because you know what else gets a pitcher pulled early? Shelling him.

When are we going to stop taking first pitches? I swear its a strike every time and we never swing to "get their pitch count up". You know what also causes a pitcher to get pulled? If hes getting shelled.

It appears we negotiated with one head of the many headed hydra and the rest of the heads are not happy about it. Time will tell how this strategy works out because surely they knew this would happen.

I want to see what we get out of this and what Trump means in regards to the general framework of Iran's 10 point plan. Because looking at it, if we accepted it even halfway for what it is then its a loss. Time will tell though, just hope we didn't fold pocket aces or if this a bluff to get the different Iranian factions to fight each other.

Both things can be true. Hes at best the second best catcher we have behind Yamin, and I think everybody can see that. He may be the third best behind Serna and thats ok. It may not be the most desirable thing but if he can rake while being the DH or 1B and we can cut down on errors then its worth it for the team and I doubt he would complain.
