Music playing in background at football practices

This might be a fairly insignificant detail, but this is off season and the rant, so it got me wondering. Is this a Lane Kiffin thing? Does anyone know if this has been done by previous staffs? I know background noise has been used in the past to simulate game time situations but Belinda Carlisle tunes not that I am aware. It seems it might make on field communication between position coaches and players a little more difficult but maybe not. Thoughts?

Yes they have had music playing at practices for several years now. This is very common all over college and pro football.

I used to live near Vanderbilt under Franklin and they'd BLAST music, opposing band music, and crowd noise during practice.

I had no idea, good deal. Does anyone do the big cat drill anymore, ha. Can you imagine the outrage if a high dollar NIL guy got hurt doing that, although I doubt they would be participants.
