Zoysia Rust

Has anybody here been able to successfully prevent this?
this isn't my pic but every year I get the exact same thing in April/May. Really thins it out and makes is look like shite.
I applied Scott's Disease X (Azoxystrobin) about the first weekend in March at the preventative rate. Last year I put Propiconazole down in March and then used Disease Ex in May (at the curative rate) to try and control bermuda melt. Neither product seems to do anything significant to the zoysia rust.

One of previous houses had Emerald zoysia and I dealt with rust nearly every year because of typically how damp it would be coming out of spring. Had someone from the NC State extension come out one year and have a look at it with a few other things. They didn't seem too think rust was that big of an issue and said that it was hard to avoid in spring. Didn't really get great advice on how to avoid it.
They told me to give it nitrogen to push growth and mow frequently to enable more airflow and sunlight to limit the moisture on the grass. They said it was important to rinse the mower off after each use so it wouldn't spread or reintroduce the rust.
Here's a link that I've had for a while that may help.

I put 40-0-5 fertilizer down a week ago. I've been cutting at at 1 1/4" along with my bermuda. Hopefully it gets over it quick. I'd hit it with round up and replace with bermuda but it's in a shadier area of my lawn.

I put down some Disease X at the curative rate as a preventative (one bag covers my yard at the curative rate). A week later I see rust. Guess I’ll see if it goes away as we get deeper into summer. I cut back on my watering in the meantime.
