Yes do it. The only thing we need Europe for is our bases. They legit don’t provide much of shite else for support.

nato is a defense treaty not an offense treaty. when a nato country attacks another country nato is not obligated to help.

No need to leave NATO. Let’s just act like a lifelong Euro member and not pay our fair share. Let’s pull all of our forces out including closing down our airports, bases, high schools and golf courses. We’d save billions. If Russia attacks, let’s take our time sending advisors and send strongly worded threat letters if Putin didn’t behave himself. Russia couldn’t take over Europe with France leading the defense anyway.

I have no problem with them not providing active support
I have a real problem with them denying us use of bases staffed by our troops, paid for with our dollars and ready to be used in their defense.
