Then what Charlies are you referring to? A place in that neck of the woods?

Charlie's is in Springfield.

Haven't been to Dutch's. But, Charlie's has impressed me. The 16 oz ribeye is more than 16 ozs. It's prepared like you want, comes with baked potato & salad, and onions & mushrooms if you want them. It's $18.99. The seafood is excellent too. It is crowded, so come early.

I used to love Dutchs, some of the best fillets I have ever had, but the last 2 times I went I was not as happy and felt a little queezy after dinner, maybe a little too much butter with the steak, I think next time i will ask for light on the butter, not a cheap place to get a steak but you get a quality cut of beef cooked correctly, with that said I have not tried charlies and plan to do so in the near future

Charlie's is definitely better for seafood but for steaks I think you gotta go to Dutch's. He's a little pricey but he cooks em himself and uses the best meat. If anybody doesn't know Dutch's is a few miles south of Moonlight on hwy 16 in the old T-Pete's building.

Right beside Charlie's, It just opened this year. Has steak, seafood, italian and mexican on the menu....strange to have all that at one place but the food was pretty good. Need to step it up in the service dept though.
