for the football season? Realistically, what do you think our record will be?

9-3
if we catch some breaks 10-2 maybe and maybe 11-1

10-3 with losses to UF twice, and against either Ole Miss or Bama.

Jefferson brings real change to TS and turns it around next season.

so is our season slogan next year, "It's time for a change."

No, since we'll be much better and blow out many of our opponents, it should be:
"It's mop up time, put in Lee!"

9-10 wins. Right now I'll say 9.

I am expecting much more consistency from our offense. The three headed monster in the backfield of CS/KW/RM should be our bread and butter. I expect to see Brandon Lafell make his first round status for next year's draft obvious. I expect Toliver to live up to his 5 star status.
I expect our defense to be much more aggressive than last year. By aggressive, I don't mean more blitzing. I just think by simplifying schemes, and each player knowing where he is supposed to be, will make the defense seem much faster. Players second guessing themselves was a huge problem last year, and it causes the player to react a little slower than he would if he was confident.

13 wins and a shot at another NC. We lose at Fla. and redeem our selves in the SECCG.
A better D and a steady QB will make Tigers that much better. Plus Ole Miss and Nutt find them selves, Bama has the same QB problem we had, Auburn new Coach and new system, Miss. St. same as always. Geo. Bulldogs see Bama, Vandy see Miss. St..

It's an odd year. I think Fla is a home game this year.

LSU has won the West every odd year since 2001. I think we'll do that again and continue the streak. Making the SECCG would be great, winning it would be just a great bonus.

10 wins and I'd be happy - as long as we were close in the losses.

I expect to beat Florida in Baton Rouge, goto the SEC CG. Anything more than that is gravy.
But I don't think Florida will be the juggernaut a lot of people are making them out to be. They'll be raw in a few areas like OL and WR.
I think 11 wins is realistic. More wouldn't be a huge surprise. Realistically, there are only three teams that have around as much talent as LSU: Florida and Alabama are the other two.

Expectations: a strong season and a BCS bowl. I'm not going to quibble on the numbers of w's and l's. I'd like the w's in 09 to be an improvement on what they were in 08.

Toughest games:
1) Florida
2) Ole Miss
3) Bama
I think we end up with 10 or 11 wins. Nice improvement. However, we could easily only lose one game or none this year if everyone truly plays to potential and the defensive scheme is solid. We're as talented as anybody.
