Mimi's in the Marigny - imo, THE most underrated dining experience in NOLA by far.

Impastatos is underrated IMO. One of my favorite places in the city.

+ Impastatos I LOVE the seafood canelloni!

Chef Joe is cool...and I had lunch left over for the next day.
Plus, there are plenty of cute girls that work there - that never hurts.

Chef Joe is very cool. It's not uncommon the run into Saints players there also. The pecan smoked filet is great. If he has lemon fish (cobia) it is truly one of the best dishes I've ever had.

Was it Joe's son or Sal's son that went to prison for extorting the dumpster guy after Katrina?
Nino's in....low and behold Baton Rouge is an underrated restaurant.

I agree with this.
For a place that gets overlooked as a restaurant, they have some good food.

I caught one back around end of September, maybe a little earlier than that about 55lbs and I kept several large roasts out of it. Cut some into nice steaks but I cooked a whole roast about 3 lbs or so on the grill. I seared all sides of it, seasoned it and kept basting it with butter and squeezing lemons and limes over it over medium heat for about an hour. It turned out amazing.
