#4 Galatoire’s faces #13 Couchon.

As for all games, anyone can vote. Anyone can also tell in the same post us why their choice should win. Politiking is encouraged. But you can only post once in a thread while the game is being played. If you post more than once in the thread while the game is underway, your vote is disqualified. You may post in the thread AFTER the dead line for votes.

Voting for this game ends at noon on 4/8/2009 because of the late start.

Haven't been to Galatoire's but a big fan of Couchon, so my vote goes to Couchon.

Galatoire's. I really love the food at Cochon, but Galatoire's is more than food. Friday five hour lunch is the ultimate in NO dining experiences.

Tough call because I am a big fan of Donald Link and what's he's been doing in the city. But Galatoire's is an institution here.

So my vote is for Galatoire's. Although I reserve my right to change my mind later.

The funny part is that on most days I would prefer to eat at Cochon.

1 vote for Cochon.

why not Galatoire's?

1. i'm not from Uptown, Old Metry, or the Garden District.
2. Like Jacques-Imo's, it seems more about the spectacle than the food.

Regardless of where you are from, Galatoire's is the shite.

One vote for Galatoire's...I am sorry you have had bad food experiences there, tigre....while the spectacle matters, the food is incredible IMO.

Shrimp Remoulade
Crabmeat Maison
Crabmeat Canape with Muniere Sauce
Pompano with Muniere or Crabmeat Yvonne
Creamed Spinach

All of those are the best versions in town.

it wasn't bad at all, it was good. I just get tired of creole food pretty easily and prefer the style at cochon. to each their own.

Galatoire's gets my vote.

Cochon was good on my two visits, but nothing spectacular, IMO.

I've been to Couchon. It was ok during lunch but that was a over a year ago.
Everytime that I think about going to Galatoire's, I don't have a coat on.
Do they rent them or something?
