Is there a market for painting wall murals in homes?

any thoughts? I'm talking top notch stuff, not mickey mouse, lol. Now maybe not MichelAngelo!

yes, but you probably have to fill in doing faux stuff....I've worked with a couple of guys who are incredible. Both have charged $35K plus for domes in foyers that I know of. Here is a link to one, although he is more faux than murals, he's decent with murals. The other doesn't have a website that I know of, although he has done some Michelangelo type stuff laying on his back on a scaffold...

I don't know about the really nice stuff, but PLENTY of parents would pay for some storybook scenery and book images in their kids rooms and nurserys.

yes...i have a friend in BR that does them. her husband posts on the OT and the Rant sometimes.

he has done quite a few murals as well, but I doubt either of these guys would make a living without doing other types of artistic finishes as well...
