These guys take more crap than any other athletes in recent memory. Please fans, stop. They work hard, stay out of trouble, and are Tigers. It's OK to have opinions, but in my opinion, the Coaches know more than all you tools.

well at least when nola fields a grounder, he doesn't throw it over the fence for a homerun for the other team.

Why are immature college geeks so judgemental?

Unless you bat .400 and never make an error or throw for 400 yds and 5 TDs and no Ints every game... well I've got news for you, there is no room at LSU for players like that!
I totally agree with. Give these KIDS a break. If you want to complain about athletes then go to the More Sports board and complain about guys who get paid to play.

Sadly, this is the standard, even Blake Dean was getting ripped earlier this year

The funny thing is that both were good enough to start as FRESHMAN at a prominent D1 school.
I can tell you that I much rather see Nola working pitchers and putting the ball in play than Landry in there hitting 3 HRs in one game then having 10 strikeouts the next 3 games.
Fixed

99% of the problem is this board is littered with Al Bundy wannabes. IMO, that is what the message board era has contributed to college sports. You get a bunch of retards spouting off at the mouth with ZERO accountability.

Maybe it's just me, but if I had to guess those who start anti-Nola threads really don't believe what they write. So it doesn't bother me unlike the anti Jarett Lee threads.

They have a long way to go before they take the amount of crap Jamie Howard did.

for the record, J Lee was a RSFR. He sat his TRUE FRESHMAN year behind Flynn watching him lead and win a MNC.

That's one reason and probably the main reason most tards on this board are not taken seriously. Probably makes for humorous reading if nothing else to do. It's hard not to read a lot of this stuff and not have a good laugh.

Agreed. I don't think everyone realizes how important Lee is going to be for us. We need a suitable back-up, and despite any first year mistakes from Lee, he actually has experience and we need him and we need to support him.
As for Nola, the guy has more range than DJ and a better arm. He has made the infield better defensively and we're expecting a guy with minimal at-bats to come in and hit .350 during the meat of SEC play. I'm sorry but we need to temper expectations. Mikie and especially Hanover have been in the lineup for a long time and were able to really navigate through the season and find their bat. Nola wasn't given that opportunity. Last time I checked Nola was the Gatorade player of the year in high school and will only get better.

it's an internet message board. there is no accountability, so people are going to say whatever they want. also, it leads to debate/arguments. If everyone agreed on here, you would see about 200 users because it would be the least interesting site ever created.

I think some of our J-Lee bashers forget that his redshirt freshman year was not spent running the scout team, that was Perriloux. JL was busy fighting with Hatch for 3rd team scraps. He only had a chance to take 1st team reps in that spring, and still had to split then. Not exactly a good opportunity to gain expereince. He was essentially an early enrolled freshman in experience. (with a little extra time to study Crowton's playbook)
