The Times of Acadiana does this every year to see the best of something. Either restaurant or radio station plastic surgeon, etc. We had tickets for the party yesterday at nitetown which showcases the restaurants that won or came in the top 3. It was amazing having every restaurant serving some kind of their food. Free alcohol along with food and a gift bag at the end of the night

Best New Restaurant- Agava (Downtown)
Best Dining Late Night - Mel's Diner
Best Brunch Restaurant - Blue Dog Cafe
Most Romantic -Bella Figura
Best Chef - Brian Blanchard (iMonelli)
Best Breakfast - Another Broken Egg
Best Bartender - Sarah Neeper (She has many fans as said in the Times)
Best Pizza - Deano's
Best Hamburger - Southside Bakery
Best Cajun - Prejean's
Best Mexican - Coyote Blues
Best Sushi - Tsunami's

Just to name of few. Wanted to share this with everyone just in case no one heard about it.

Let the burger debating begin. I like Southside alot but prefer Morvant's in Youngsville. Not sure if it qualifies or not.

What won best Italian? Alesi's I hope. I love that place. It is so authentic and great natural flavors.

You have to remember the people are voting. How many people have eaten at Imonelli's compared to Olive Garden?

Olive Garden wins again. This completely discredits the list IMO.
