If Ranuado plays anything like he did last game against Arkansas then we'll sweep this series. Of course I feel the probability of this is relatively low considering this would be two excellent performances in a row. Your thoughts?
Hats off to Texas and LSU alike for a classic game last night. I'm much more of a football fanatic rather than baseball, but I must say that the game last night was certainly one of the best college championship series games I've seen.
PS - what is the main texas athletics message board and where is it located?

It just shows that he is peaking, he will be 'up' as they all are at this point.

Kinda hard to win three of a three game series.

I really don't see how Ross starting helps anything. If you're willing to pull out all the stops in game one, why not continue in game 2? He better have a shorter leash than Coleman and have Ranaudo ready to go.

I'm sure that is the thinking.

What has Ross done in the postseason to allow you to think he won't pitch a great game similar to Ranaudo? He's been our 3rd starter all year, give him a chance.

Ranaudo needs another day's rest from the heat.

I don't think starting Ross is a very good idea. We shouldn't be conservative with the pitching selection in game 2. If Texas rallies to win then the pressure is on in game 3 no matter which pitcher we use.

who would be the starter for GM3 if both Ross and Ranaudo are used and we loose?

So if we pitch Ranaudo tonight and he just doesn't have his stuff and we lose, we will depend on Ross to win it.
Why not give Ranaudo another day's rest, just in case we need him for Wednesday.

So you'd rather have Austin Ross start game 3 if needed, rather than a rested Ranaudo?
Hmmm...no, thanks.

If we hit and score runs like we're capable, we'll be alright.
