Going to be in Los Angeles then the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. Where are some good places to eat? And don't mention anyplace with a buffet or drive thru.

If you go to Hollywood, go to Micelli's. Great Italian.

I was in San Diego years ago and had the best Mexican food I've ever eaten at a few places in Old Town. Can't remember names , but every place we tried was great.

Might want to narrow it down to some cuisines you're interested in. Obviously there is a lot of Latin/Asian influence there so you might be more interested in those cuisines.
Also L.A. is a huge place so tell us what area you're going to be in

A while back, I went to Croce's down in the Gaslamp area of SD. Very good food in a nice setting. Usually has some pretty decent live music as well in the evenings.
If you're an old school music guy like myself, you'll appreciate the fact that the place is owned by singer Jim Croce's widow, Ingrid and features a lot of JC items there.
