Why not every LSU player ever?

Every LSU player ever? I hope that is sarcasm. JR can stay in Oakland.

I dont know. He may give the towel to the wrong team and that player may bring the towel all the way back to his home.

Not sure where this thread is coming from or going, but I think I'd rather see Charles Scott in Black and Gold.

Not disagreeing with you at all, but as for the Saints (and I know people will disagree)
Need at RB>>>>>>Need at OT

Yea I have to disagree. OT is a position that can always be upgraded. In the NFL every year some undrafted RB makes a huge impact. RB in the NFL is an easier transition from college than OT IMO

exactly. no team would ever pass on a top LT. They are just a rarity. Black will go top of the the first round.

I'd rather Black take the place of Stinchcomb than Scott taking the place of Thomas. I see a very bright future for Pierre.

I think C. Black would play LT and the Saints would Brown back to RT which I agree would give us one of the best OT tandems in the NFL IMO.

Ehhhhh... I know everyone loves PT, but I'm not as sold on him. I hope, pray, wish he becomes the next great running back in the NFL. I just don't know if he can do it.

Just saying that IMO and IMHO C. Scott and R. Bush running behind J. Brown and Stinky would be better than PT and R. Bush running behind C. Black and J. Brown. (The C. Scott/R. Bush duo reminds me of the Carolina running back duo.)

how can you say this prematurely about PT when we haven't seen him start for a full season? what if he goes off this year and is a top 5 RB? would you still feel the same about black/scott?

The same way people can say:

quote:

Pierre Thomas will have comparable numbers to Turner this year.

It's all opinion that nobody can back up at this point.

Of course not. Question is, do you beleive PT will be a top 5 RB this year?

good point. i'd like to think PT can be a featured back for us and do well though. it's not like he has performed terrible for us or anything. he's shown how good he CAN be, only time will tell us. that time is now.
