Soylent green. Would you drink milk that out of date? besides, how much does a yogurt cost? THROW IT OUT.

I ignored an expiration date on sour cream once, my thinking was "it's already sour, so it's supposed to be fricked up". Can you say projectile diarrhea.

I put the temp on my fridge down a notch from recommended and have found milk keeps much longer than alleged expiration date when it's stored in colder temps.

That actually work very well for a lot of things. We got a new fridge in February and set it at 37F, I have noticed fruits and vegetables stay fresh a lot longer, cheeses rarely mold and dairy lasts longer. If I could afford a bigger fridge I'd sleep in there, maybe I'd live longer.

this thing kind of rolled back in the fridge and got forgotten about.

So...I guess you ate it and lived?
How did it taste?
And my food motto is "If in doubt, throw it out."

I've always had sort of a phobia about dairy products. I don't drink milk, I only eat dry cereal. I make my wife dispose of milk when it expires. I like sour cream in very small amounts, but only from restaurants. If I open a container of daisy sour cream and see the liquid sitting at the top, I'm turned off. Same thing with yogurt. I can only eat the sugary Yoplait stuff. "Real" yogurt makes me gag. And if the Yoplait expires tomorrow, I'm not eating it.
So, in my warped anti-dairy mind, I say not only should you not eat it, but you should replace your refrigerator.

yogurt is good up to a week after the expiration date. Check the label it says something of the sort like that.

Well for what it's worth it was fine. It did have a tarter, more "yogurty" taste as I guess the little critters inside it had more time to ferment. But that was actually pretty good.

I usually eat yogurt up to one week after the experation date with no problem. I am addicated to Bittersweet Plantation Dairy Yogurt and it is so thick and rich it seems fine in the little jar with the screw lid after 10 days. I am not sure if there is a preservative in it or not but it is to die for!!

Which flavor do you like? I haven't tried it but the tv ad makes me want some!

I love the Ruston Peach and the Raisin Pecan. The Lemon meringue is absolutely incrediable!! The screw caps on the jar are great to keep it fresh.
