I've got mixed feelings on plays being sent in via signals from the sideslines.

I don't recall a delay of game penalty so I guess that's a plus. I suspect it limits the defenses ability to substitute.

On the negative side you've got the O line standing at the LOS for a long time. I think it limits your ability to check off and call an audible. Does it impact momentum on a drive?

What are your thoughts?

in Q3, the offense had just run 3 successful runs.

it's 2nd and 5, and Jefferson looks to the sideline like he usually does. Some sort of miscommunication happens, and he signals to them that he doesn't have the play.

Then, in a rush, he gets the play and tries to get his OL set. In that madness, one OL gets out of his set and is flagged for procedure.

It leads to another penalty on the very next play.

2nd and 5 then turns into 2nd and 15.

This turned it into an obvious passing situation which resulted in a 7 yard sack. 3rd and 22.

I personally can't stand it especially with a young inexperienced qb like JJ.

Florida doesnt have problem running it and neither does have the teams in college. I think thats the least of our problems.

tebow has been in that offense for 4 years now. of course they have no problem running it

JJ has enough trouble with the offense as it is, why throw this in there?

Having a Heisman QB might explain why they don't have problems.

I feel your pain , They send the play in with 6 sconds left on clock. No time to check off.

his inexperience is WHY they do it. I dont like it either but essentially they are calling the audible for him.

Ditch the 'Meercat' offense.

I believe that type of offense got Auburn's OC fired early last season. But Tebow manages to run it fine.
