Why is it that Alabama can't let go of the past? I guarantee you that as soon as I come rolling thru Alabama I'll see Houndstooth and Bear Bryant crap everywhere I turn my head. Pregame I'll have to listen to the God awful playback of Bear Bryant speaking like he's in a drunken stuper. So who again lives in the past?

I dunno, but it's no sadder than the LSU fans still obsessed with Saban and USC.

I agree. Now if you don't mind I need to go watch Billy Cannon's Halloween run and Eddie Furniss' Homerun as I discuss JR vs Flynn, obsess over why Saban left and do I think Lou Tepper's drop back linebacker will ever catch on.

Saban's gone in my book. New chapter to a book that's not even close to being finished.

I don't know, I think by virtue of the fact every year Billy Cannon's punt return in 1959 on Halloween night is lauded (on local TV shows across Louisiana) like it was the best ever play in the history of college football competition.

Talk about living in the past!

LSU is guilty.

i dont think thats the same. saban was personal, but i agree its over now. USC would have claimed that championship no matter who won. we should always want to play them because they are a good team.

It's fine to want to play them, but LSU fans are reallly obsessed with USC. Which is sad because USC doesnt even think about LSU.
