Yes or no? Maybe add USC and Miami, Oregon?

I think with JJ being a Junior, and the players coming back, we should be better next year...

Texas, OU, UF,all lose their star QB's..

Thoughts and expectation for the next 2 seasons

I am very excited about the remainder of the season and I think good things are ahead for the program

Very, Very concerned about the o-line. Because if this line is the best we have now, I'm worried about the players behind them.

Also, won't bama will have to break in a new qb again? If so, this time he'll be young.

Our O Line will be improved. We will be looking real nice on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Based upon what?

I don't mean that in a smartass way. I'm just wondering what makes you think that. Please tell me something to make me feel better.

I think the Offensive Line played very well early in the game. I even commented while the game was going on that they were providing Jefferson lots of time.

Now, perhaps this is because Bama was dropping more into coverage. I don't know but the line was making a nice pocket in the 1st half.

Maybe they played well b/c LSU came out throwing quick passes which wouldn't allow Bama line time to get to the qb.

We lose a lot of seniors, especially on defense, after this year. It'll be interesting to see what the team looks like next year. I think our offense should be a little bit better, though.

the oline will be MUCH more experienced and with a full year of conditioning/bulking (Josh D), they will be greatly improved.

We lose Ciron, but add 2-3 quality youngsters (Faulk, Shaw, etc.). Blackwell is ready to assert himself.

I am honestly looking forward to this unit next year.

Our dline will be much improved as well.....esp. with a year of bulking for Downs.

I would throw in UT next year also. We have all the impact players, but our O-line scares me. Our D will all the red shirts playing next year will keep us in alot of games. Can't wait to see Montgomery get some action along with Ridley getting the ball.

seriously, how in the hell can you say this?

T-Bob will be MUCH more seasoned.
Josh D will get some much need bulk.
Barksdale will be that much more seasoned.
Blackwell will be chomping at the bit.

Chris Faulk is a future NFL tackle
Shaw is a quality backup.
Lonergan is another quality backup

those in bold will be truly experienced as well.

I so disagree with you.

Bama loses a shite load on defense next year. I think 7 starters plus 1 more from their two deep.

Bama is losing a lot on D nect year. 7 Senior starters will be gone including 3 D Linemen Washington, Deaderick and Cody. The LB core will be dwindled down to with Reamer and Anders graduating and the possiblity of McClain going pro, not sure if he is eligable yet though. Arenas and backup Johnson will be gone and S Woodall as well. The offense will lose starting TE Peek and the OL takes another huge loss with Johnson and Davis both moving on. Upchurch graduates and we might see Ingram test the NFL waters as well. They also have a total of 6 Sr. who are not starters but do get playing time. It will be interesting to see how Bama reacts to the house cleaning. It might turn out to be a typical Saban ran team where you get 1 or 2 good years than 1 or 2 okay years.

LSU loses a few key players on D as well as Alem and Alexander move on but we are going to take a huge hit at LB with Coleman, Cutrera and Riley moving on. I like the guys we have coming back in Sheppard and Baker and Mingo looks like a beast but we will definitley lose some dept.

Bama will also lose K Tiffin and P Fitzgerald so ST will be unknown at the start of the season as well. Long Snapper Selman will graduate as well and we all know as LSU fans how that can hurt a team.

Alem leaving will be a blessing in disguise. We will have some real depth on the D-Line next year and the secondary will be the best in the nation, especially if Loston is as advertised. Our biggest concern will be LB but we have some guys that are studs and learning the system this year so we shall see.

He can only get better, he can't get much worse. Dang it, I hope I haven't spoken to soon.
