You need two frames prior to this. He launched upward, driving his helmet into Tolliver. The Tech fans sitting beside us were nervous for TT because they showed the replay and it was ugly. We were all amazed they threw no laundry.

Nope. Initial contact was Boyd's forearms going through the ball into Toliver's chest. That is where the force was delivered. The subsequent contacting of the helmets was incidental.

After he hit Tolliver with his helmet he brought his arms up from his chest as if to make it look like he lead with his arms. I wish I would have caught the defender's head snaping back as it made contact.

what was even more crazy was they sent him back in the game and there is no way at that time that they knew the extent of his injury.

They had to have done a full mental and neuro exam before letting him back in. And he couldn't have had any symptoms.

i really hope so, but i think he was only out for one series. seems like it should have takne longer but of course im not a Dr or trainer.

im no doctor either, but i watched TT on the sidelines and the staff was working on him a good bit. clearly, saw them check his eyes and coordination with various test.
