True Life: I have broke parents

I'm watching this shite right now, and it's just plain fricking sad. These grown arse adults don't have any money, and don't seem to be trying to get any.
The dad is bitching about having to apply at places like Wal-Mart, and begging a donut shop dude to hire him under the table for five bucks an hour. He bitches about no "good jobs" in the area. Also, any time he gets money, he wants to buy cigarettes. What a fricking douche.
And the mom is worse..at least that's how they are portraying her. Does she not even try to get a job? The 16 year old actually gets a job and makes some money, and she takes it from him for bills. Also, at one point, Jobe (the kid) was playing Xbox. So times can't be too tough if you can still have an Xbox. And he tries to sit down with her and have a serious talk about getting a job, and she gets all pissed? She refuses to get a fricking job..what a stupid bitch. I hate it when young kids are smarter than their parents.
And all these people have cell phones and that kinda shite. Hilarious.
Anybody else see this shite?

What's sad is I've met kids who have parents like this. Live paycheck to paycheck (if they even have a job at the time). Anytime they do actually make a reasonable amount of money they blow it on stupid shite like girls weekends and strip clubs. Can't afford to pay rent, but has a fancy iphone.
And the worst thing? The daughter is in school, works hard at a job, and pays for everything for herself. Really grinds my gears.

I paid for my own shite at 16. My parents weren't broke either, it was just their way of teaching responsability. If I wanted something I had to save my money. Even lunch money at school. Tough love I guess.

The dad was on unemployment, and only seemed interested in finding a job when his unemployment extensions ran out. But he had a wife (or girlfriend?) though, and they and his daughter (and her baby) lived in a house. You can't make house payments and pay bills on shitty unemployment.
Same thing with the other family...the mom wasn't working. The 16 year old kid was working, but his two little brothers don't. She kept worrying about making rent. Well, rent and bills don't pay themselves, so they have to be making SOME kind of money somewhere. The mom has a boyfriend, so maybe he pays their bills..??
And Pilot, I'm not sure when it came on..it was on my DVR. I usually go through my guide once a week and record the ones I think I might be interested in.

I watched this episode last night and I thought of the exact same shite you just said. Also, the daughters ex-boyfried-the dead beat dad saying he bought diapers and stuff so "come over" to get it, then when she got there he gave her $25 fricking dollars! and says "what diapers? thats what the money is for" I wanted to punch that worhtless frick in his face!
I'm sure you watched the I can't leave my boyfriend episode as well? Hangman and his fricking chinese food was awesome!!!

The dad was twitchy as hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't blow half his money on coke. The Mom was pathetic, they never have $$, but they always eat Dominoes delivery w the Lava cake. You could make 10 meals with the $20 she spent on that crap.

The Mom said she was sorry a million times to her son about them being in that situation yet she didnt do anything to fix it. She was fricking selfish and seemed to only care about herself. Then we tried to just sit down and talk to her all calm she wants to be an a-hole about it for no reason. What a pos.
