What ratio do you use? 3 oz/gallon?

Called the company and situation was rectified. They had accidentally charged state and local taxes, instead of just local.
You have well water? We had this problem bad before getting an iron filter put on the downstream side of our well.

For cleaning: Whink Rust Remover

The one in the shaped bottle in the link. Make sure on the back it has Hydrofluoric acid as an ingredient (they have another product that uses oxalic acid and its not as good). I've found it at some of my local grocery stores and dollar generals. It works amazing on toilets and sinks that are stained with rust.

Propane delivery sales tax

Question for those of you who have large propane tanks at home:

On your bill, what does it say for sales tax?

I just got a bill for this quarter's propane fill up, and the tax was 9.95%.

I looked back, and on old bills it was about 3.5% tax.

After googling it, it looks like there is supposed to be 0% state tax for residential propane sales. I'll be contacting my supplier soon, but wanted to see what others were receiving.
Loved his character in Everybody Wants Some
None of the Ptech schools are going to go out and get you a job, but the degree will definitely help. A lot of the kids in Ptech school assume the school is going to fill out their resume, take their hand, and walk them into an interview.

You basically need atleast one of the following to get hired as an operator:
Black
Female
Veteran
Several years plant experience (any type of contractor job helps)
Ptech degree
a GOOD connection (not your neighbor is an operator, but more like your uncle is plant manager)

There's one in a truck stop in Hammond. All the ladies working there are very nice.

but you guys have serious issues accepting and admitting how many hours you work

I keep seeing this, and accusations of all the operators lying about what they make and how many hours they work.

But hypothetically;

An operator's regular shift is 7 out of 14 days worked. So with no overtime he works 182 days in a year. If he works a moderate 500 hours of OT for the year, that comes out to an additional 42 days of work for the year. Adding those together, this fella has worked 224 days out of the year.

Someone who works a regular job works 5 out of 7 days per week. This comes out to 260 days worked in a year's time.

So it seems to me that this operator, even while working a robust amount of overtime, is still at home more days per year than regular joe.

Obviously these numbers can vary depending on vacation time, the way overtime is counted, work schedules, etc but you get my point.

What a strange turn of events. Didn’t she say she was leaving the station to spend more time with her kid? She seems a bit nutty.
As if I couldn’t love Russell Crowe anymore

She wasn't dad's gf. She was a sexy drifter who happened to temporarily live in Matt Modine's house. Basically every teenage boy's fantasy.

Linda F was smoking. Early Madonna, plus some other great tunes. Shute was a tank.

This movie was required viewing for all HS wrestlers.

I swear I've been seeing the ads on facebook for this for 3 years now
Where are you, and all the others posting similar suggestions, finding all these bottles? I never ever see any Eagle Rare, EH Taylor, JD Sinatra, Stagg, Blanton's, etc. Located on the northshore.

I feel the same about Qualley.
The sheriff's office facebook post tonight sounds like something a spoiled kid would say when they didn't get their way.

As someone already said, The Americans had a great one.

Also, I've always loved the opening scene from Trueblood. Didn't use any of the actual show characters, but captured the creepiness and campiness of the show perfectly.
