Is it lost or are they saving it. It sure seemed more effective.

It's the same stinking play book. Blaming the play book or play calling for poor performance is flat out silly. At some point, the players need to execute. Blockers need to block the right guys, runners need to see and hit holes, QB's need to recognize blitzes and hit open receivers, and receivers need to run great routes. Blame a coordinator for not developing QB's or for not having the right personnel on the field, but our playbook is fine. Play calls are great when they work.
Look at Georgia Tech's offense. They run the same plays over and over again, but execute flawlessly. Look at Florida - their offense is extremely vanilla, but they are great at running their plays.

I don't know where it or the playbook we used in the first half against Arkansas last year is.
Our OL has been struggling this year so where's the sprint out? Why aren't we getting Jefferson out of the pocket with run/pass options?
Where's the pistol formation? Perrilloux could run the option out of it and he's a shell of the runner Shep is.
Where's Dickson? I know he's been injured lately but he has disappeared this year. He should be a safety valve for Jefferson on every play.
Where are the screens? Get this OL (that's undersized by most standards) out in space on LBs every once in a while.
Execution has definitely been a problem but playcalling has been as much of a problem if not moreso.

BASS You are on to something, How about any of the last 4 bowl game play books. Miles excels when he has 3-4 weeks to prepare.

Crowton has made him a total non-factor on offense both this season and last. He'd be an all-conference tight end at any other SEC school.

The Dickson getting less catches is not Crowton's fault.
the fact that Mitch Joseph hasnt panned out as a "blocking" tight end this season has forced Dickson to be used more in a blocking role. Last year we had Zinger to do that, allowing Dickson to run more routes
