If i am Les,

1) I ignore all media, and concentrate on winning next two games,

2) I tell players to ignore outside distractions, and just look out for each other.

...winning last two games will calm things down..

The frick?

You do both. Hope you haven't lost your team, and finish as strong as you possibly can.

Both. I mean, what else can he do?

Then again, the guy doesn't really seem to know what he's doing. So I just don't know.

3) Apologize to the players for letting them down and assure them you will never let it happen again.

Les believes that a mountain is being made out of a molehill. He knows fans are crazy, so he thinks they are overreacting.

I'm just not sure how serious he really believes this is as far as job security, unless someone at the top has spoken to him about the meltdown.

Remember, he still is coaching, so that is what is getting most of his attention. Plus the attitude that all coaches take, looking forward to "wanting" to come out "first" in the next game.

Negotiate a buyout and take the Colorado job.

In all seriousness I put the team on lockdown for this week. No going out or anything. Go to class, go to practice, and go home. Second, I apologize to them for costing them the game and assure them something like that will never happen again. He needs to take charge, be positive, be intense and confident.

Well, it's not like he's going to read a book or try to solve a Rubik's Cube, so why not those two things?

Fire Crowton today and take over all offensive play calling until the end of the season. No more options to the short side of the field or pass plays when we need about 3 yards. Use RS in the wild tiger with TH split wide and going in motion, Ridley to his left and the threat of RS either running or dropping back to pass.

Remember:

Les is a players coach, and they will not quit easily on him...

..we can still go to a decent bowl game...

...Two wins here would be a good deodorant...

Get on his radio show tomorrow.......and w/ STRONG conviction.....apologize for the mistakes, our offense and letting these kids and the State of La down!

Tell everyone he's gonna fix this shite......win on Saturday and beat the crap out of whomever in the Cotton Bowl.

Fire Crowton after the AR game and get someone in here that's creative and can develop a damn QB.......

i actually agree. i thought about this earlier today and i think this is the only way to clear the air with the players so that we have a long shot of beating arkansas. if not the players could give up on him and we get 50 dropped on us as maillet bombs fall and our offense struggles to cross the 50

1)Make some statements that mean noting of substance.

2) Throw a couple of players under the bus.

3) Make some stupid remarks that try to make me look cook and tough. "Damn strong and tough! I like our chances! We have the want to win something". (insert yawn)

4) Contact a real estate agent.

5) Thank God this isnt Alabama or I would have a brick thrown thru my car window by now.
