Saints 2009 vs. Cardinals 2008

Arizona wrapped up their division very early (not a 13-0 type start at all), had a scary looking offense, then looked like a shell of themselves in the second half of the season finishing 2-4. Everyone said that they lost momentum and were in trouble in the playoffs. The story was that if you just play physical with them they can be dominated.....then, they turned it back on, the defensive stepped up their intensity, and they made a run to the superbowl.
Does anyone else see the similarities?

But their bandwagon fans probably shut up and just enjoyed the ride, I wish ours would.

The Cardinals had nothing to play for. The Saints have plenty and still can't get the job done. Not to mention the Cardinals never lost to a trash 2-12 team.

They did lose to a good team by 50 though IMO much worse.

sure they did. they were 7-3 with a chance to finish strong and get a 1st round bye. They wanted the bye, and blew it.
