Hard to be a good fan of Basketball

I just think its becoming more irrelevant every year. If only baseball would become more relevant. I think the CWS is the only national exposure.

Basketball will be relevant with the coach in place. Give him time. He is a damn good coach

I meant nationally irrelevant

What an all around dumb post.

I wish baseball would be more relevant too... Unless you live in BR or drive to the game.. Can't really watch it... In fact where I live (BFE) they don't even broadcast it on the radio...

Are you saying that LSU Basketball is nationally irrelevant or that college basketball as a whole is nationally irrelevant?

How many schools nationally would kill to have the type of exposure LSU has for TWO primary sports?
There's very few schools, I'm talking a handful, that you can say are more relevant in all three big sports than LSU. You can't have a ton of exposure in every single sport every single year. We won the SEC last year, but we suck this year. Why would anyone want to talk about an 0-12 SEC team? You're overreacting.

That same thing was said about Brady. However, I don't think any coach in modern history went O'fer in the SEC and was considered a good coach. Remember last years team was Brady's team; not Johnsons. So I will patiently wait for your quote to become a reality. For the time being, I will sadly say that basketball at LSU sucks.

lsu is bad at basketball, therefore it is nationally irrelevant IMO FWIW

I watched all three baseball games on Geaux Zone....If you are a fan you know this exist on LSUsports.net for $ 8.00 per month or 99.95 per year.....Yes if you want too you can see every baseball game played, even those not on T V and then a replay if you miss one.........so.

i'd be curious to know where baseball ranks in generated revenue in the nation...wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't in the top 5...obviously, football, men's basketball...then women's basketball, hockey...possibly lacrosse

I would guess #3. In terms of number of tickets sold, the NCAA Tourney for baseball had more attendance than the NCAA Tourney for basketball last year.
Basketball has a huge edge when it comes to television, and the opening weekend of the Tourney in March is like a national holiday, but I do agree that most of America doesn't follow individual teams and the regular season with as much zeal as it used to.

the game or our program?
if it's the game you're clueless...hoops is the best team game of the three majors. everybody gets touches almost every possession.
if it's our program...all I can say is, "patience grasshopper."
as far as exposure is concerned you would think espn could broadcast at least 3-4 college games a week. of course that would mean the poker junkies would have to go some place else for their fix.

So its cheaper to buy per month for 12 months than per year?
pretty sure you are the one thats dumb as hell
