venue that I have been to for an SEC tournament. Lots to do and good food. Our Tigers looked good for a while and ran out of gas in the end again. Looking forward to next year and hoping the recruits will bring a new life to our team and fans. There were only about 30-40 LSU fans that I saw. Ky fans were there by the thousands and were very nice.
Met three in a restaurant and they invited me to their party. Gave me $100's worth of Kentucky Burbon.

That was very cool of them. Sounds like a great time.

I don't know my burbon, but one bottle (5th) was Parker's Heritage Collection. Aged 27 years. Will drink it on the 28th year when LSU makes the Big Dance

I went to Nashville about a month ago. It is a great city. If they have the tournament there again I will definitely go.

Went to the Grand Old Opry and they flashed the LSU logo on the screen recognizing the SEC teams. Pretty Cool.

I'm considering making a trip up there for the Vandy football game this year. It's a little further away then the Sommet Center, but still pretty close.

Will be there in 2013.
I'm pretty sure LSU will have a lot better team by then.

I came up for the Vandy/LSU game 5 years ago for my first visit to Nashville and enjoyed Nashville so much I moved here the next year. It is one fine place to live and do business and enjoy the outdoors. Icing on the cake is being an SEC city.
SEC Fans spend 12 Million in Nashville

You're right. Great City. So much to do I can't wait to go back in 2013. Did go to the Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Spent a lot of time on Broadway Street also. After our Tigers lost, I had KY fans offering $500 for my remaining tickets. Other KY fans told me to hold out for the next day and get more when the fanatics showed up. Did that and sold my remaining books for $1500. Then enjoyed the sites even more.

IMO they should move all the SEC stuff there. They should move the offices there also. No one is scared of any preferential treatment for Vandy either.
I know it is cool to play the SECCG in a dome, but I think Nashville would be more fun. The Broadway strip is right next to the stadium and the music is always great.

Lived there for about five years and that city is better than a lot of cities you will find in the US period. Did you go to the opry mills mall? One bad thing when I lived there is it was really hard to find lsu apparel.

Next year it is in what I consider the worst venue. Atlanta (Georgia Dome). Hotel room, game, hotel room, game........

Damn--you did pretty well there. UK fans love their basketball.

Sure did. Large Mall too. Spend time in the Bass Pro Shop while wife shopped.

Could have doubled it if I had waited and sold before each game. Would be taking a chance though. If KY had lost to Tennessee, I wouldn't have gotten $10 for them. The final tickets sold for $1000 each, especially since LSU season tickets set me up in section 104, row C.

Nice. The Nike factory down there is pretty huge too. Haha I remember getting Lost in there a couple times. The mall that is.

Kentucky fans told me that they buy LSU season tickets and put them on Stub Hub, or discard them, just so they get Tourney Tickets. No chance at getting them at KY.
