I went to the new Alex Box for the first time this weekend and it was beautiful. The only thing I noticed wrong is that there is no radar to show the speed of the pitch. Why is this? Are they working on getting one?

PM didn't want to put one up. he said he didn't his pitchers trying to blow up the radar gun instead of just going out and pitch their game.

Well that's just dumb. Who cares what the players want or need? At LSU it's the fans that count. If the fans want a radar gun they need to have one. PM better watch out or the rantards will be on his arse too.

It wasn't PM. It was Skip. PM didn't really say if he wanted one or not.

The old Box didn't have a radar reading. I think those things are a distraction, anyway. And besides, where I sit, there's always a scout or two or three, each with his own radar gun.
