You are ignorant ti the value of Greenland?
Defense of Greenland: Agreement Between the United States and the Kingdom of Denmark, April 27, 1951
See Article II in the agreement. Both the flags of Denmark and the USA will fly over the "defense areas" in Greenland.
quote:
The national flags of both countries shall fly over the defense areas.
It is agreed that responsibility for the operation and maintenance of any defense area shall fall to the Government of the United States of America.

quote:If you're going all in on subsidies then where in the links you provided does it say the U.S. subsidizes 31 other NATO countries' military.
The confusion is that you don’t think a subsidy is a gift.
I don't remember seeing that word anywhere in the text I read but this fool's errand you're promoting isn't worth my time to go back and read the links again.

quote:I never said that. I don't know if the U.S. is giving money to 31 other countries' military. You said we are. I'd like to see some information that supports your statement.
You said we aren’t giving other militaries money.
So far you've been unable to provide such support.
And now you're word parsing about subsidies and "gifts" and that doesn't answer my question because other countries pay into NATO just like we do. So are they subsidizing or gifting money to our military?
If you don't have a link that says what you're claiming just admit it. Otherwise I'm just going to consider your comment as Drama Queen bullsnot.

You're avoiding my question.
You've posted multiple links which you claim says the U.S. is paying money to 31 other NATO countries military.
I read your links multiple times and there is no mention of the U.S. funding other countries military.
I'd like to learn more about your claim. Stop obfuscating your attempts to justify your claim.

quote:Where is that quote in the link you provided?
The money the US contributes to NATO goes into two main types of funding: direct common funding for shared operations and infrastructure, and the much larger national defense budgets of member countries.

I don't see anything in the link you posted which says the U.S. is spending/funding other countries' military.
Can you quote from the text where it says that?
