Significance of mw2 stats?

What makes a better player? Accuracy, W/L, or K/D? I'm trying to get K/D up, but it's At the expense of accuracy and W/L. Do I suck?

W/L is a team/clan stat, accuracy doesn't mean anything if you don't snipe, and K/D is the personal stat that everyone thinks is the most important. Most of Da Clan is around 1.2 and some lower than 1 but we still work people daily.

haha, kinda depends on which stat you want to be the best.
w/l: find yourself a clan and completely forget about k/d & accuracy.
k/d: go lone wolf or play with a good tdm crew, camp, and forget about winning every round.
accuracy: just snipe and be good at it.
before i started rolling with LESI I was ~1.75 k/d & ~26% accuracy....learned to care less about that shite and prefer to know just to beat the shite out of people.

I always play with a bunch of randoms, and have been trying to get my k/d up. Getting shite from kids because I'm fine with a 9/3 round and I "camp". Just my style of play. I don't camp spawns, get 3 kills then move somewhere else. If I run and gun I get smashed.

This type of play isn't for everyone...and not for every map. There are a few guys that I play with that excel at it. I can get going running and gunning, but its not often. Usually, I have to play at a slower pace and w/ the guys I play with, the kills are few and far in between. I've just learned to accept it and enjoy the victory.

another part of it is...constant movement.
if you want to be confined a a small area where you can control the flow that's fine, but kill a few people, then retreat to a different spot close to the previous area.
they will come looking for you and there's another 2-3 kills.

Depends on game type. I played TDM and it's about K/D and a little about W/L. My K/D ratio was at 1.87 but W/L was 1.05. So I was a good team death match player. But was not good at any other game type.
ETA: my ACC was I think 18 or 19% but all I used was famas. Would be much worse if I ran fully auto.

How do you have a K/D ratio over 1 with accuracy that bad? I haave a 1.3 K/D ratio and 22% accuracy.

My KDR is right around 1, but I play with a crew where the majority of the time I'm the bomb planter/capturer. This helps us beat the shite out of people, hence I have a good W/L. I hate losing. I'll take a W any day.

I started out piss poor and finally got my k/d to 1, accuracy to 22 (famas mainly), but win % is like .7 or so. I would just rather slowly get my k/d up than try for 30 kills per match. When I try that I'm terrible

I use the UMP, therefore a lot of bullets.
My roommate has a 1.09 K/D with an accuracy of just over 8%.

I really dont care about any of my stats, i just like to play and have fun. But FWIW, when im playin TDM with randoms, i camp my arse off. Ill play a whole match and be like 6-0 or 8-2. If im playin dom wit LESI, im more concerned with capping and holding down B and keeping the skies clear to free up the real killers on the team.

Thts the problem. My game doesn't speak very loudly yet. Getting better though.moving from pc to console.
