Super interesting. Obvi Baker knows what he envisions for that role the best, so Spears makes sense as well.
Benefield is just a big boy who makes plays around LOS. I always got the sense that Perk was probably liked more as a banger/pursuit/pass rush guy in that role, but lacked in the coverage aspects.
Maybe Baker would prefer that role be better in coverage, even if a little less banger :dunno:

I THINK that they sign him for $6MM (per year by the way) then the Bayou Traditions finds him NIL deals to offset.
So if they find him $3.5MM in legit NIL, his revshare from LSU out of the pot is $2.5MM
