Put Adolfo Garcia at the top of that list. He and Scott probably work as hard and spend as much time in their kitchens and any chef.

A little birdie told me that he is close to closing. Any truth to that

How could we have forgotten such a great one.

Missed Garcia. Sorry for adding him to my list.

I don't know. What did the birdie chirp in your ear?

Not to be surprised if he closes at the end of the month.

John Harris for sure. Lilette is serious food.

Yes it is. Gautreaus's is as well. Lilette and Gautreau's are easily both in the top-ten, if not top five in NO.

Call Fitzmorris on the air and tell him about this. He might have a heart attack.
The last two times I dined there and visited the bar, he really did not seem to be doing all that great. I know he used to do well with the private party stuff in his banquette room, but that seems to have died down too.

He may have to move his show to bi weekly to afford the air time.

You're right, they do. Excellent food.
Matter of fact, I had it slated on my list to go there a couple of weeks ago, but Bayona won the vote. Not disapointed at all. Susan was there, and she knocked it out, but I do need to make another run soon and eat there again.

Richard Hughes at The Pelican Club should be added for sure.

Unfamiliar with Richard, and never ate there, but I pulled up the menu, and it looks pretty classic, but I did see something fairly aggressive and tasty:

He's in... I'm taking your word for it. Sounds like you've got a good handle on this glassman.

The seafood martini is one of my favorite appetizers in town.
